Get some inspiration by browsing our collection, gallery and social media pages to find examples of what you’re looking for. Some customers create mood boards or simply send pictures with examples of their flowers, venue and bridal party outfits – this really helps me create something perfect for you. It can be overwhelming choosing your stationery (and most people don’t have a clue where to start!) but don’t worry I will guide you through and promise to create something you’ll love. If you have a specific budget for your stationery, you can let me know and I will try to work to this.
Remember most of the styles you see are customisable so colours, fonts and layout can be changed to suit your style. If you’re wondering about invitation formats, click here to check out our handy guide.
-
Contact me for a no-obligation consultation (a friendly, informal chat!). We will discuss your requirements, send pictures and ideas between us so I can gather all the details I need to create your perfect stationery. During the consultation I will also be able to give you an idea on price, however you will receive an accurate quotation with your bespoke sample. Get in touch using the Contact page.
-
Once we’ve had a chat about your requirements and how you’d like your stationery to look, you can order a bespoke sample - this is made to order and personalised for you. I usually provide a sample invitation (or up to 3 different sample invitations) and a save the date if required. I also do stationery sample packs. As samples are made to order I have to charge for them, but you’ll be refunded the price of one sample if you place an order.
-
When you’ve received your sample (and hopefully love it!) you can then get back in touch with me to place your order. Before doing this you may want to consider a few things:
Approximately how many invitations / ‘save the dates’ do you require? (I recommend one per household) and when would you like to post them to your guests?
Consider reserving a date in my calendar for any ‘on the day’ stationery items. If you haven’t thought about timings yet, here’s a useful stationery timeline guide:
Save The Dates: Send 9 – 12 months before your wedding. Production at least 2 weeks prior.
Invitations: Send 3 – 6 months before your wedding. Production at least 3 weeks prior. If you have decided to send ‘Save The Dates’, you can send your invitations a bit closer to the wedding.
On The Day - Production 3-4 weeks before the big day.
-
When you have decided to order your stationery please get in touch to book your required production slots.
Separate order slots are booked for each set of wedding stationery. Firstly, ‘save the dates’ and invitations, ‘on the day’ stationery and finally ‘thank you’ cards.
It’s important to order as soon as possible to get the production slots you require. You only need to know approximate numbers when booking your production slot, so don’t worry about the finer details at this stage. A 50% deposit is required to secure your production slot. You will be invoiced separately for the different stages of your stationery order.
If you require your stationery within a short timescale, please contact us and we'll make every effort to fit this in if possible.
Once you have paid your deposit you will receive confirmation and further details via email.
-
Your order confirmation email will detail everything I need from you with a deadline date - this date is 2 weeks before I start work on your order.
Once I have received all your wording and guest list I will produce digital proofs of your stationery. Wording can be changed on your proofs as many times as required up until I start work on your order, at no additional cost. It is really important that you check your proofs thoroughly, several times, and also ask a family member or friend to check over them too, as they might notice something you have missed. Once you have given final approval I can start work on your order.
From the first date of your order slot, please allow 15 working days for completion of your stationery.
-
When your order is almost complete, I will contact you to let you know when it will be ready. I can post your order (24 hour recorded delivery) or if you live locally you can arrange to collect from my workshop. Before posting your invitations please check what size stamp you need, you can do this by asking at your local post office. Please check my terms and conditions for more details on postage and collection.
Once you have received your invitations, please check them thoroughly within 48 hours to make sure everything is as it should be.
After sending out your invitations don’t forget to get in touch to book your ‘on the day’ stationery slot, if you’ve not already done this.

Here’s some handy tips to help you when planning your stationery:
We are a luxury supplier but we also understand the rising cost of living is hard for everyone so if you’re concerned about your wedding budget there are ways we can help:
Go digital with your save the dates (we offer this free of charge with an invitation deposit)
Skip the RSVP card and let your guests know how they can RSVP on the invitation details card instead. You could use an email address or create a wedding website where guests can read further information and let you know if they’re coming to the wedding.
Swap a monogram wax seal for a standard wax seal and add a little personalised tag instead!
Be creative with your reception items - we can print individual seating plan cards for you to display in your own unique style (a lot less costly than purchasing a seating plan board).
Post your invitations with second class stamps.
Timescales:
Customers often ask me for advice on when to book in stationery production. There is no right or wrong answer to this and it’s all down to personal preference but this guide might help to make your decision.
Although you might want slightly longer timescales for weddings abroad, my main advice would be not to send invitations too early.
If you send invitations too far in advance your guests might put them away in a drawer and forget about them.
Where possible, send your invitations the same year as your wedding, that way your guests can write down the date in their calendars.
Consider your required ‘RSVP by’ deadline and send your invitations at least one month before.
If you are sending ‘save the dates’, these are basically an invitation without the finer details. Your guests should already know at this point whether they can attend, so you should be more relaxed about when to send invitations.
It doesn’t matter how early you send your invitations, there will likely be people who cannot attend, so try not to send them too early for that reason.
Book in for reception stationery 3 - 4 weeks before your wedding; the closer to the wedding the better. You need to give yourself time to plot out your seating plan and make sure all guests have replied. Seating plans are always the item I make last, in case any guests drop out.
