Terms & Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions are subject to change. We will adhere to the terms in place at the time your order is placed.

  2. We respect our customers’ privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy before contacting us and when placing your order. We will assume you have read it and are happy with what it says.

  3. A non refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of the order must be paid when placing your order. We will not begin work on orders until payment is received.

  4. Our preferred payment method is by BACS transfer. Payments by cheque should be made out to 'Boutique 14'.

  5. Digital proofs will be emailed to you before your order slot. Proofs must be checked thoroughly before approving by return of email. Any changes requested after the first day of production may incur an extra cost and in some circumstances may not be correctable where timescales are unreasonably tight. Boutique 14 will accept no responsibility in this circumstance.

  6. Completed orders will only be despatched when the full balance is paid. Until the full balance is paid all orders remain the property of Boutique 14.

  7. When placing your order we will give you a designated production slot and an approximate delivery or collection date. You must send all your order information to us at least two weeks before your production slot to avoid any delays. We will not be able to change your designated production slot in most circumstances.

  8. We aim to complete your order in 14 working days (Monday - Friday) from the first day of your order slot. In some instances, due to unforeseen circumstances, we may need to extend this period. We will let you know if this is the case.

  9. When collecting your order information, you may be asked to complete templates provided by us to facilitate our printing and production process. Menus, Orders of Service, etc. must be provided as editable soft copies so we can copy and paste the information onto our design templates. We do not accept hard copies of information or images/screenshots.

  10. Please consider ordering additional spare/unnamed invitations in case your guest list changes. Additional stationery ordered outside of your designated production slot will incur a flat fee of £10.00 in addition to the cost of the stationery, as we will need to set up a separate production run.

  11. Postage & Packaging is charged at the following approximate rates - Save The Dates: £10.00; Invitations: £16.00; On The Day stationery (inc table plan): £25.00. We reserve the right to adjust these costs where postage or packaging costs are significantly greater for any reason.

  12. You can arrange to collect your order from us if you prefer. The cost of packaging is not included in the price of stationery, so a charge of £5.00 for packaging will be added to your invoice. Collection times are: normal business hours (9am - 5pm), Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

  13. All orders are sent by recorded delivery, we will advise you via email when your order is complete and your products are despatched.

  14. All our products are very carefully packaged. Any damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

  15. We advise that any items with large or delicate embellishments should be posted in presentation boxes, and/or bubble wrap envelopes to prevent any postal damage.

  16. If an order is cancelled, any work in progress must be paid for in full.

  17. Due to the nature of our handmade products, some designs may vary slightly to what is shown on our website. The materials we use may have naturally occurring minor imperfections as part of their manufacturing process. Individual items within a single order may vary slightly in appearance from each other and also from any samples previously ordered. If any materials have to be substituted we will let you know before starting on your order.

  18. When posting out our products to your guests, you may require large letter postage stamps or incur other postage costs depending on size, weight and destination. Boutique 14 cannot guarantee postage costs and accepts no responsibility for costs quoted by your chosen postal carrier.

  19. Colour charts shown on the website are indicative only and represent a guide to the true colour. The colour you see on your screen or that you print out may not be the exact colour of the material we produce.

  20. All prices shown on our website are a guide only. As our stationery is bespoke, we will individually price each order and provide a written quotation.

  21. Prices are subject to change; however any orders which have already been confirmed and a deposit paid will not be affected.

  22. Ordering samples is strongly recommended before placing a full order for your stationery. Where a full order is placed without ordering a sample first, Boutique 14 will not accept product returns due to personal preferences.

  23. All our designs; the content of this website; and images on associated media are fully copyrighted and remain the property of Boutique 14; any reproduction of designs will be considered an infringement of copyright law. We will pursue through the courts any instances of copyright infringement.
